My Story
Hi! I’m LJ—a visual artist and storyteller with a background in animation, illustration, video editing, and design. I currently work with DreamWorks Animation on feature films, while also creating art that supports causes close to my heart.
Whether it’s stickers of rescued animals for The Gentle Barn, playful adoption promos for LA Animal Services, or quirky illustrations for the Burbank Animal Shelter, I love using art to make a difference—especially for animals in need. My work blends heart, humor, and storytelling, often inspired by my travels, personal experiences, and the joy of giving back.
Before DreamWorks and working on films such as The Wild Robot, and Puss in Boots 2, I was an Assistant Editor for a WWE reality tv show. I also worked with the Universal Studios Creative team on the Beijing, and new Epic theme parks. I’ve studied art for years—everything from traditional drawing to photography and digital media—and I’m always chasing new creative adventures.
And in case you're wondering—yes, my studio assistant is my rescue dog Josie (named after my favorite pizza place). She keeps me grounded with daily walk breaks and a whole lot of belly rubs.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope my work brings a little light your way. Feel free to explore, connect, or say hi!
